The war between the sexes has never been so funny. “Like Sitting Ducks” is a farcical comedy about neighboring couples whose poker night and book club unravel into paranoia and chaos. As the husbands gripe about their wives and the wives complain about their husbands, both groups begin to imagine the other side is plotting against them. Fueled by resentment, misunderstanding, and absurd overreaction, the evening spirals into comic threats and near-disaster. Outrageous characters and great fun!

About the Playwright
Stephen Wagner is an actor, director, and playwright who lives in the Mohawk Valley region of Central New York. He has written several plays, including Like Sitting Ducks, Shattered Angel, Two Candles on Lansing Street, and We All Know Elena. He has also written the 10-episode audio dramas Taking Flight and the upcoming The Makers, available on all podcast platforms, and he has also adapted and performed in several audio dramas for CNYPodPlayers (www.cnypodplayers.online). He is the VP for Marketing and Development for Players of Utica and is the theatre’s historian.
