CABARET KALISZ
by Christie Brenner Winn

In their attempt to survive living in a forced labor camp in Germany during WWII, five women cling to the remnants of their identities and the flickers of hope that keep them alive. Amid the bleakness of a dimly lit barn and the constant reminder of their reality, the women share stories of their once-vibrant lives. Despite carrying their own burdens and the realization that humanity seems lost, they find strength in one another. A play about hope and how the power of the human spirit can both crumble and triumph in adversity.
