About the Playwright

Ryan Sprague is an American playwright and best-selling author currently living in Edinburgh, Scotland. His one act play, Reach, has been produced across the United States in New York City, Syracuse, Colorado, Maine, and various others. It was also produced in Rome, Italy by the Ivy Theatre Company in 2021. Reach was adapted into a feature film by Ryan, titled Reverie Lane in 2016, which was an official selection in the Los Angeles Lift-Off Festival in 2016 as well. His short sci-fi play, In a Forest, has been produced in New York City and Chicago. It was adapted into a short film script by Ryan which won 2nd place for Best Science Fiction Short Script in the Nashville Film Festival in 2014. His other plays include: The Soldier’s Daughter (Random Access Theatre, 2013, ABOUT FACE IRELAND, 2014, and Voyage Theatre Company, 2015) and Some Just Do It Naturally (Top 10 of 60 plays in the Wonderland One Act Festival in New York City, 2007) Ryan’s two non-fiction books, Somewhere in the Skies: A Human Approach to the UFO Phenomenon (2020) and Stories from Somewhere in the Skies (2023) hit #1 on the Best-Sellers list on Amazon.
