About the Playwright

Jennifer Skura Boutell (she/they) is a mom, a queer American artist, theatremaker, and writer whose work has been presented in the USA and Europe and described as “vibrant, vital, and hilarious” as well as “absurd and brutal.” Her plays are published by Next Stage Press. She is also the creator of FADlab, a writing residency for fictionalized auto drama, founded at Windmill Arts in Atlanta, GA. Jennifer holds a BFA in theatre, an MFA in creative writing, and a 2026 candidacy for an MA in mental health counseling. She is from Texas, lived in California, started a family in New York, and lives with them in Georgia.
