About the Playwright
David Jensen is a professional actor, writer, and director currently residing in Boulder, Colorado. David began writing half-hour dramas over 20 years ago for the teenage educational market on such topics as drinking and driving, teen suicide, teen violence, and diversity. David transitioned into writing and producing health-related educational content for the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, the CDC, and other clients around the country. He has written copy for over 100 health-related industrial and marketing pieces. David has written multiple full-length stage plays, numerous short plays, and a few spec screenplays. Brother by Brother was the opening night’s featured play at the Vintage Theatre’s New Play Festival in Denver. The play has been extensively workshopped with actors from the DCPA education department and is inspired by true events.
