Chicago. The year-1926. Famed pianist, Fats Waller, is kidnapped and brought to The Hawthorne Inn where he discovers that he is to be primary entertainment for the infamous and dreadfully psychopathic mob boss, Al Capone. What follows over the course of the next three days, is a darkly humorous and often tense look into the shocking true story of the man who could possibly be the only person capable of hurting Al Capone.

About the Playwright

David R. Remschel is a multi-published playwright with Next Stage Press. His works have been performed on community stages and as competition pieces around the country. David is based in Ingram Texas where he frequents the local stages as director and actor. David is also a teacher of theatre arts in the Texas Hill Country where he has found much joy in teaching what he practices. David is happily married to his very talented wife, Tasha, and has one son, Nicholas, who has recently been bitten by the acting bug.
