At Ashby’s Galleria, art show attendees anxiously await the arrival of reclusive billionaire Jonathan Bixby. Each is eager to impress, hopeful that proximity to such wealth and power will increase their own status. However, the evening takes a turn when an unexpected guest appears, stirring up a whirlwind of confusion and confrontation. As the guests clash over matters of money and art, revelations come to light, and more than one life is forever changed.

About the Playwright
Jackie Martin is a writer and educator. Her plays have been produced by schools, universities, and theaters around the United States. Awards include the Peter Honegger Prize (2019), the Audience Choice Award at Shadblow Theatre’s Short Play Festival (2020), and the LabWorks Producers’ Choice Award at the Pittsburgh New Works Festival (2021). Her work has also been published by YouthPLAYS, Heuer Publishing, Smith & Kraus, Applause, and others. Jackie is a member of Dramatists Guild of America. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband, kids, and cats.
