About the Playwright

Brion J. Humphrey is a clown, theatre director, writer, and teacher whose work blends heart, humor, and fearless imagination. He has written a variety of holiday-themed plays and is the author of the psychological thriller, Sense Memory. In addition to twenty years of teaching Theatre and Language arts, Brion has had the absolute honor to perform with his family in the brilliantly talented Soul Penny Circus as a theatrical clown in seven states, from Colorado to the East Coast, as well as in the world’s largest Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, lending his playful physicality and storytelling craft to diverse audiences of all ages. His greatest aspiration is to someday grow up and be Santa Claus.
