LITTLE BITCHES follows Jenna, a closeted fifteen-year-old, and her childhood best friend Natasha as they attend their final year at summer camp. Unbeknownst to Jenna, Natasha brings a new best friend to camp, leaving Jenna behind. When the girls at camp start talking about materialistic things Jenna doesn’t align with, she quickly forms a bond with Kate, who introduces Jenna to a world outside of boys and tanning oil – who would have thought! Through DIY alcohol, rounds of truth or dare, and a potential murder, Jenna must accept the fact that change is inevitable, and sometimes losing your best friend is what finally forces you to see your true self and what you’ve been too afraid to want.

About the Playwright
Esme Roberts is a playwright, actor, director, and filmmaker from Los Angeles, currently pursuing a BFA in Drama at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she trains at Playwrights Horizons Theatre School. Her play Little Bitches premiered at Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Los Angeles in 2025 and subsequently received productions at NYU’s Goldberg Theater and the Fresh Fruit Festival at The Wild Project in New York City. Little Bitches is published by Next Stage Press. Esme has also trained at the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio and performs and writes sketch comedy at NYU.
