Michael, a resident in the village, is intrigued but soon discovers that his wife, Lara, is responsible for the crime, and has concealed her terrifying, true identity. When suspicion falls on him, Michael realises the full extent of Lara’s betrayal, and soon Michael and his uncle Frederick appear to be at her mercy. Cut off from outside help, together they are forced to use their ingenuity to escape her non-human clutches.

The play has also received a reading in New York as part of the 2025 Hudson Valley Theatre Festival and was selected as one of the Top 40 for Centre Stage’s 23rd Annual New Play Festival.
What a delightful read, full of intrigue, farce and fun! Beautifully written. Transported me to another dimension and I’m itching to see it on the stage!
