About the Playwright

Canadian writer and playwright John Green is the author of several books and junior novels. He is a three-time recipient of the Canadian Children’s Book Centre Gold Seal Award for There’s a Dragon in My Closet, Junk-Pile Jennifer, and Alice and the Birthday Giant. John has also spent many years as both an actor and on the production staff of professional and community theatres as well as a number of feature television works. His plays for adult community theatre include You Can’t Dance to Mozart (Heartland Plays Pub.); The Ghost of Dunsford Hall (Next Stage Press Pub.); What Mildred Did (Next Stage Press Pub.); The House on Geoffrey Street (Next Stage Press Pub.)
