Rudolph is being bullied so he runs away from the North pole.  But when a super big storm  comes, and Santa can’t ride without him, Rudolph needs to trust in his friends to get the help he needs to get back in time.

RUDOLPH’S BIG SECRET

A holiday tale that reveals how Rudolph  continues helps out  others by sharing his personal story of triumph. When he meets Suzie McSneezer, an elf who feels worthless because of her constant need to sneeze, he shares a glimpse of his past.  A wonderful friendship begins that is sure to inspire and bring holly red cheer and evergreen to all.

About the Playwright

Winner of the 2021 Olwen Wymark Theatre Award by the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain, New York Indie artist, Coni Koepfinger is the host of AIRPLAY and DETERMINED WOMEN. Now in their 12th season, these virtual theatre shows connect artists from all over the world. Coni is a Media Advisor for Lifeboat Foundation, a Member of The Dramatists Guild, a former board member of the International Center for Women Playwrights and the League of Professional Theatre Women. Recent work includes Garrett, the Blue Giraffe at Pan Asian Rep; Takin’ It Back for THE ME TOO PROJECT in Harlem; and Playing House commissioned for UNTOLD STORIES OF JEWISH WOMEN; My Dinner with Mary for The Producer’s Circle at the Players NYC; Simon Says in PLAYBILL’S Virtual Theatre Festival 2020; Josie in the Bardo at The Chain Theatre and The Unusual Chauncey Faust at the Rogue Theatre Festival in summer 2022. Musical Theatre collaborations in development with composer Joe Izen include Eve of Beltane at the Broadway Bound Festival (2019), Live from the Bardo with Dan Carter at Theater for the New City (Fall 2022) and Kingdom Come which will premiere in Spring 2024 in Athens under the direction of Sia Koskina. 

With her undergrad in Theatre Arts from Penn State and her masters degree from Carnegie Mellon in Literary and Cultural Theory, Coni believes that creative energy is never lost, it simply changes hands and hearts… Koepfinger enjoyed a very fulfilling adjunct teaching career at several universities including Carnegie Mellon, Point Park, Duquesne, Penn State and Carlow.  Yet in 2012 Coni was determined to reestablish her playwriting with New York audiences and it has been growing ever since. And it is here she feels most at home.
