About the Playwright

John P. Bray’s plays include Tracks (or The People Who Live Here) (Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival, 2025; Semifinalist, O’Neill National Playwrights Conference); Trickster at the Gate (written under a grant from The N.E.A.), Friendly’s Fire (World Premiere: Barter Theatre), and the audio dramas Green Sound (LIGHTS UP! Podcast), The Demon Lady (Gather by the Ghost Light), among others. He has been a Semifinalist for the Princess Grace Foundation Playwriting Award and Finalist for the Kernolde Playwriting Award. John is an indie screenwriter, anthology editor, and scholar. PhD, Theatre, LSU; MFA, Playwriting, The Actors Studio Drama School/The New School. John teaches at UGA.
